Good Will Hunting Movie Review By: Ethan Trinh

Actually I saw this because of I wanted to notice what the Boston, Massachusetts cultural is like.. anyways— Matt Damon, Ben and Casey Affleck, Robin Williams, Minnie Driver, Stellan Skarsgård put on a stellar act to their roles! I really dig the closeness between Will and Sean after their distastefulness with one another, totally dig the therapy scene where Sean Maguire talked to Will Hunting about the Red Sox’s game. And for Professor Maguire meeting his late wife at the bar and how they spoke about first dates and how his wife farted in her sleep. They slightly broke character which was one of those golden moments in this film! I didn’t like how Matt Damon’s role acquired him to be a jerk to Robin William’s part, any-who Good Will Hunting is a limitless project Directed by Gus Van Sant... made by Damon & Affleck. I could feel Will’s disheartens upon his life which was sadistic, so I understood his part in this project. There's awesome quips in this drama/romance 1997 film---like when Will (Matt Damon), Chuckie (Ben Affleck), Morgan O'Mally (Casey Affleck, & Billy McBride (Cole Hauser) were in the car driving around after getting food, Morgan asking for his double burger from Chuckie. Ben and Casey's characters have that love and hate friendship like actual brothers, you could instantly tell they are related. One other scenes that astounded me was the bar scene when Clark (Scott William Winters) integrates Chuckie (Ben Affleck) in the bar and Will (Damon) defends his good ole' buddy. It was like a smart off challenge and Will Hunting beat Clark to his own game. I wondered if Damon & Ben Affleck named the main character, Will Hunting after the thrift store. Not sure, it's something to conceive though. This is one of many films that make me miss Robin Williams and his charm. Rest in Peace, legend.
