Stuck in Love Movie Review By: Ethan Trinh

This is something to speak a lot about in everyday situations— the commitment between the couples in this indie, the screenplay is the best, the soundtrack is so a well done on this motion picture directed by Josh Boone! The cast is so talented and relatable! Nat Wolff, Greg Kinnear, Lily Collins, Jennifer Connelly, Logan Lerman, Liana Liberato were so memorable and exquisite to their acting! The drama and bond between some of the characters in the ending is so extraordinary, also the scene where Rusty (Wolff) realized his girlfriend, Kate (Liberato) had been raped and drugged was such a extravagant performances by Kinnear, Collins, Connelly, and especially Wolff! This movie will make you smile, cry, laugh, and just a lot of emotions in your system. It's funny how Nat Wolff's character-- Rusty, there's an actor named Rusty Joiner, he plays the man ruining the marriage of William & Erica Borgen. Also, wonderfully played by Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly. It was a terrible position to notice seeing your girlfriend or boyfriend being raped or molested, seeing Nat Wolff break down during that scene was intense as heck. First time I saw this gem of a movie, I was a teenager just bored out of his mind. I wanted to watch a movie, didn't know which to watch, so I went on YouTube. I saw "Stuck in Love" the full movie on there and I didn't regret that I stubbled upon this romcom/drama. Not even once, it was that good. After watching this movie so many times, I hate to say... it gets tiresome, even it is one of my beloved movies on my list. Each single character you can for sure relate to mentality and physically. Sometimes, it's a good and a bad thing. It was nice seeing Kristen Bell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Spencer Breslin, they play individuals as a home-wrecker of William and Erica's marriage, a girlfriend abuser/bully of Kate's, and a true real friend of Rusty's. It was kind of sad not noticing a last final scene of Rusty and Kate making things work in the end. But, I was fond of hearing Stephen King's voice in the film and Rusty getting his "book" published which is actually lyrics of a Beatles song. PS: that's one of my favorite classic rock bands of all time.

One of my favorite indie films by far!!

Rating: 10/10
